Hyperdrives I believe, and yes, I agree, Hyperdrive does sound cooler than Hyperengine, but we would still refer to the HyperDrives as Engines, like 'HyperDrive Engine...' sorta thing, because they are the engines, I mean seriously

well actualy they areint, the normal engines move us into hyperspace, after the hyper drive ripes the fabric of space open, realy they are generators.

HyperDrive Engines, that makes the most sense, but what do we say? "Take us into HyperSpace" ? OR "Take us into HyperSpeed." ? OR "Take us away at FTL Speed." ?
